I am interested in what remains when the obvious is removed.
My photographs are built around silence, distance, light, and the tension between presence and absence. I am less interested in describing the visible world than in creating a space in which meaning can emerge without being named.
Minimalism, for me, is not reduction for its own sake. It is a way of removing everything that prevents the image from continuing in the viewer’s mind.
I want the work to remain open — not incomplete, but unresolved enough for the viewer to enter it.
